Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 28, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to FamilyCareWise ("we," "us," or "our"). FamilyCareWise is an educational content website operated by Reboot Inc., a Nevada company. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you visit our website at familycarewise.com.
FamilyCareWise provides educational information for family caregivers. We do not require account registration. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
2. Information We Collect
From Visitors:
- Device and Usage Information: IP address, browser type, and device type via Cloudflare infrastructure. We may also activate third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) in the future; any such services will be disclosed in Section 5 when active.
- Cookies: Functional and session cookies as described in Section 6
- Link Click Data (if applicable): If this site participates in affiliate or business partnership programs, clicking those links may result in the partner network collecting referral data (such as the originating page and click timestamp). Any such relationships are disclosed on the relevant article page. Partner networks govern their own data practices.
From Contact Form Submissions (if applicable):
If you contact us via an inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry.
What We Do Not Collect:
- Payment data: We do not directly handle payment or billing information. Digital product purchases (ebooks, printables) are processed by Payhip, a third-party payment platform. FamilyCareWise does not see or store your card details.
- We do not require account registration or collect login credentials
- We do not collect detailed medical records or clinical health data. If you use our survey form, we collect the information described in Section 5 (Airtable), including a general caregiving concern category used to understand content priorities and identify topics relevant to future content partnerships.
3. How We Use Information
- To understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content and navigation
- To respond to contact form inquiries
- To identify content topics most useful to caregivers and relevant to future content partnerships
- To diagnose technical issues and monitor site performance
This site does not send marketing or newsletter emails. The only outbound emails from this site are replies to direct contact inquiries or critical system notifications (such as a data breach notification). We will not add you to any marketing list.
4. Business Partnership Links
FamilyCareWise may from time to time include affiliate or business partnership links in articles. If and when such links are present on a specific page, that page will include a clear disclosure notice. When you click such a link, you leave our site and are directed to a third-party website whose privacy practices we do not control.
Partnership networks we may work with include ShareASale, Impact, Commission Junction, and Amazon Associates. Each of these networks may set cookies on your browser when you click a partnership link, which allows them to track whether a qualifying purchase results from our referral. These cookies are not set by FamilyCareWise and are governed by each network's own privacy policy.
If you prefer not to be tracked via partner referral cookies, you can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings. This does not affect your ability to read our content.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers:
- Cloudflare: Website hosting, CDN, and security services. Cloudflare may process your IP address for routing and security purposes.
- Payhip: Digital product platform. If you purchase an ebook or printable through FamilyCareWise, the transaction is processed by Payhip. FamilyCareWise does not receive or store payment card information. Payhip's privacy policy governs their data practices.
- Analytics Services: We may activate analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. If such services are active, they will be listed in this section. Currently, visitor data is limited to what Cloudflare collects for infrastructure and security purposes.
- Business Partnership Networks: If this site participates in affiliate or business partnership programs, clicking those links may pass referral data (originating URL and click timestamp) to the partner network for commission tracking. Any active partnerships are disclosed on the relevant article pages.
- Airtable: If you submit our survey form, your responses (name, email, primary caregiving concern, urgency level, format preference, and the URL of the article page where you submitted the form) are stored in Airtable. We use this data to understand what content is most needed, to improve site content, and to identify topics relevant to future content partnerships. We do not sell this data. Airtable is US-based; their privacy policy governs their data practices.
Legal Requirements:
We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Business Transfer:
If FamilyCareWise or its operating company is acquired or merges with another entity, visitor data may be transferred to the successor. We will provide notice before such transfer takes effect.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
FamilyCareWise uses the following types of cookies:
- Essential Cookies: Required for basic website functionality and security (Cloudflare)
- Analytics Cookies: If analytics services are active on this site, they may set cookies to collect anonymized data about pages visited and traffic sources. Any active analytics tools are disclosed in Section 5. Currently no third-party analytics cookies are set.
- Third-Party Cookies: Business partner networks (such as affiliate networks) may set referral tracking cookies when you click partnership links on this site, as described in Section 4.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling third-party cookies will prevent partner network tracking but does not affect your ability to read content.
7. Data Security
We implement standard security measures to protect information:
- Encryption: SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Hosting: Cloudflare's platform with DDoS protection and security filtering
- Data minimization: We collect only the information necessary for site operation and analytics

- Third-party partner cookies: Follow each partner network's own retention policies. Typically expire within 30-90 days.
